To enjoy your memory book for many years to come, we've put together a few care tips:
- Store your book in a clean, dry place. Humidity can cause pages to warp, so it's best to keep the book indoors rather than in a damp shed or basement.
- Use a clean and dry surface when filling in your book, and wash your hands beforehand. This helps to avoid marks or smudges on both the cover and the inside pages.
- Be mindful of photo paper thickness. Although this book has a beautiful hardcover, it's not designed to be a traditional photo album. For the best results, avoid placing photos too close to the inner spine, choose smaller prints, and opt for the thinnest photo paper possible.
(Tip: The HP Sprocket mobile printer produces self-adhesive, thin photos that are ideal for our memory books.)
- To avoid ink bleeding through the pages, choose pens that dry quickly and have smooth, clean ink. Ballpoint pens work best—they write easily and reduce the risk of ink soaking through. If you want to be absolutely sure, we recommend testing your pen on a blank page first.
